...a person who took an immediate dislike for you for no good reason? Tell me how your experience devolved.

I can honestly say no I haven't. But, I have come across individuals who left me with a distaste for them due to their actions.
You mean like that stuff you got in your hand in that pic?

Yes....once... Funny thing we ended up chatting and she told me she thought I was living a privileged life...blah blah blah...but when she found out that my life was something quite different, then she was pleasant. In her case, it was jealousy...and of what? An appearance of privilege which she had created in her mind--I rarely spoke about the reality of my life at that time and never as "poor me, victim"....

I have had very strong negative reactions to a few people in my life--and those have turned out to be accurate.

If there have been others, I haven't noticed--I just blithely go on my way....

Wishing you happiness

Misty

There is always a reason , what you consider " no good reason " others may consider a " very good reason " it all depends who you ask .

Several times ...I just get rid of the negative people in my life and surround myself with positive people who believe in me and inspire me.

If a camera gives some one a distaste for me so be it. That doesn't rest within my control.
Nah...it rests within the control of the photographer.

Funny how people can get an entirely false impression of somebody when talking to them in person or even on the phone. That is the best way to handle it...just go your own way and don't even waste your time trying to figure out why those people want to be so negative or think the thoughts they do.

Pardon my terrible English here. What I was curious about are experiences that people have had who crossed paths with someone who took an IMMEDIATE dislike to them (as in the first time they met or had some kind of contact...with somebody who was a perfect stranger to them at that point). My bad.

That sounds like a very good strategy.

Hmmm...I'll bet you spend all your time working out math problems in your head.
